The Essex Chronicle reports that a letter to parents shows Lilac Sky academies trust is in discussions with the regional schools commissioner, Tim Coulson, for a new trust to take over (Tabor Academy) at the end of the current term.
The paper said: 'Trevor Averre-Beeson, Lilac Sky chief executive, said the trust would continue to run the school until a new sponsor could be found.'
Head teacher Michael Slater, who had only been appointed in September last year, has been replaced by acting principal Mark Bowman.
