Guardian - Tribal conflict of interest?

From the Guardian: The paper reports on a possible conflict of interest between Tribal being a service provider to schools and an inspector of schools - its website reporting the results of Ofsted inspections of schools to which it also provides education services.

In a news story on its website Tribal said: 'In partnership with the schools Tribal devised a work package that allowed all the schools to work together towards achieving the Basic Skills Primary Quality Mark (PQM). Lead teachers worked with Tribal’s PQM assessor in each undertaking a self-evaluation of their own school’s practice and performance and then collaborating in a peer-review.

The Guardian reported that Tribal was Ofsted's main inspection firm in the region.
