From the Northern Echo: FIVE Church of England schools in the Diocese of Durham will receive £300,000 over 3 years for the new Prince Bishop Teaching School Alliance which consists of:
Two secondaries:
Whitburn Academy in South Tyneside
Venerable Bede Academy on Wearside
Three Primaries:
Benedict Biscop Academy, Sunderland
St Paul’s Primary, Sunderland
Cleadon Primary in South Tyneside.
The Alliance has been given approval by the National College for Teaching and Leadership.
It will release more that £300,000 over four years
