David Blunkett's education review

From David Blunkett MP, also a piece in the Guardian: 'My report for the Labour party's policy review, published today, has sought to focus on a strategy for school improvement...'

From The BBC: 'Labour is calling for a more "coherent" way of running the different types of state-funded schools in England, including academies and free schools... calling for all state schools to be co-ordinated under local control... proposes local "Directors of School Standards" to monitor schools.'
