Enfield Heights Academy will swap from CfBT to Cuckoo Hall by September 1 according CfBT as reported by the North London Newspapers which said the schools founders sought help from CfBT and opened in September 2012 but 'less than 24 months later... has asked Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust, run by Patrica Sowter to take over.

Academy's Ofsted rating falls ahead of MAT-to-MAT handover
From This is Local London: 'Enfield Heights Academy... (was given)the second lowest ‘requires improvement’ rating in all four key areas' - the academy is currently part of the CfBT multi-academy trust but is proposing a transfer to the Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust by September 2014.

Ex-Cameron adviser follows the data to where free schools are needed

Floreat Education... is solely focused on opening up new primary free schools across London, and Brentford (Hounslow) is one of the first places it is hoping to do this. (It has also taken over an academy in Wandsworth/Earlsfield)

Cuckoo Hall fails floor targets due to staff split

One section of Warwick Mansell's Education in Brief focuses on Cuckoo Hall and problems caused by splits in staff.
"Cuckoo Hall, in Enfield, north London, had just 54% of its pupils achieving the expected level in reading, writing and maths, compared with 86% in 2012. It was one of only two Enfield primaries not to reach this year's DfE floor targets.
"In a statement, Cuckoo Hall blames the results on "a small number of staff, who ... opposed the ethos and direction of the Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust Board and left the school by mutual consent at a critical time". The trust has now appointed a new management team, which means that "the actions of a small, critical group of staff cannot derail the ambitions of our school community in this way again," it adds."
