ARK grows its Hastings cluster
From the Hastings Observer: 'Little Ridge Primary School... will relaunch as the ARK Little Ridge Primary Academy and officially become part of the ARK schools network which already includes ARK William Parker and Helenswood academies... ARK confirmed the appointment of Sarah Bailey who will take up the post at the start of the new school year.

University of Brighton sponsors another Hastings primary

'Elphinstone Primary joined the Hastings Academies Trust last Wednesday (January 1), meaning the school’s name has now changed to The Baird Primary Academy...'
'Tsai Tenn, principal, said: 'I believe that by working with the University of Brighton (Professor Julian Crampton, vice-chancellor) and our other sponsors, we will be able to draw on their support to do this. We are especially looking forward to working with the university’s School of Education which has been judged by Ofsted to be outstanding.'
