Go ahead for Slough Association of Secondary Heads' free school

A 900 place free school, set up by Slough Association of Secondary Head Teachers, has been given the go ahead. The Slough Express reported: 'The green-light has also been given the new 900-place school in Ditton Park Academy.'

The paer said: 'It will be built at the Castleview development, off Upton Court Road. The free school, which was set up by the Slough Association of Secondary Head Teachers (SASH), will be temporarily housed at Thames Valley University's site in Wellington Street. It will then move into its new home in time for a September 2015 opening.'

The same piece reported that Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy has secured a site after South Bucks District Council (SBDC) turned down a planning application for the new free school earlier in the week.
