Politics and land deals fail Fulham Boys and Sulivan Primary

The apparently mutually exclusive schools Fulham Boys and Sulivan Primary...


Hammersmith and Fulham Council's administration was taken over by Labour the fate of Sulivan Primary rose and Fulham Boys reversed.

June 30 Head of Fulham Boys, Alun Ebenezer writes a column in the Telegraph saying: 'We’re starting to see the annual summer spate of free school projects being pulled, or deferred, at the eleventh hour' but seeing these as quality issues, and not suspecting that his own project would be one of these 11th hour casualties due to problems securing a site. Which does seem to be a very common reason for free school delays and now there are rules preventing free schools opening until they have secured a permanent site.
