UPDATE: Frank Green supports academisation despite consultation results
The Aldridge Foundation has agreed to sponsor Darwen Vale High School according to the Lancashire Telegraph - however this does not appear to be as part of a multi-academy trust but as a traditional sponsor.
Honor Wilson-Fletcher, chief executive of the Aldridge Foundation, told the paper: 'Darwen Vale is and will continue to be a completely separate entity to Darwen Academy.' Darwen Academy produces its own accounts as do the foundation's other academies.
The foundation's CEO is Rod Aldridge - founder and former CEO of Capita.
