Ofsted has said that Armthorpe Shaw Wood Academy in Doncaster requires improvement. According to Edubase the school has a capacity of 420 but 486 pupils.
Ofsted's report said: 'Armthorpe Shaw Wood Academy converted to become an academy school on 1 September
2012. When its predecessor school, Shaw Wood Primary School, was last inspected by Ofsted, it
was judged to be outstanding.'
