E-ACT's Tottenham free school could be handed to new sponsor

From the Tottenham Journal:

Hartsbrook E-ACT Free School may be handed to another academy chain sponsor by its owners under orders of the Department for Education, less than 18 months after opening.

The primary, operated by E-ACT in partnership with Haringey’s leading independent Highgate School, is understood to be one of 10 schools stripped from the chain by Michael Gove’s department following serious concerns over education standards.

It is headed by principal Sonia Mallick, who has worked in Haringey primaries for more than 20 years, most recently for the borough’s school improvement team which works with schools in challenging circumstances.
