'Whitehall Park Free School looks set to open at the former Ashmount Primary School site, in Hornsey Lane...' (Ashmount Primary was moved to Crouch Hill).
Summary: The council had aimed to build 82 new homes on the vacated site but the DfE said refused permission saying the free school had support.
The DfE also want another school: the Bridge Integrated Learning Space Free School, on the site.
The council has drawn up a compromise for the site including 50 homes. The free school is complaining about this proposal.
