MAT secondary seeks local primaries

From the Stoke Sentinel: http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Congleton-High-sets-mini-academy-chain-schools/story-20603486-detail/story.html

'Congleton High (Head:David Hermitt and executive head) has set up the multi-academy trust so it can make it easier for primary schools in the area to convert to academy status...

'Each school will keep its own headteacher, governing body and individual budget, but some decisions will be made strategically. There has already been interest from some primary schools, with Black Firs Primary (Head:Martin Casserley) the first to launch a consultation over whether to join the new trust. Eventually, half-a-dozen primaries could become members.

'MP Fiona Bruce has agreed to become patron.'
