Canary Wharf free school plans expansion

From the Wharf: Increasing need for more school places on the Island coupled with the support of the community has meant Canary Wharf College is returning to its original ambitious vision... (to) cater for children throughout their primary and secondary studies.



A second school will be opening in September as well as a through-school for those aged four to 19 in the pipeline for 2015 (now being considered by DfE).

Founding Principal Sarah Counter said: 'We are four times oversubscribed for CWC2 as we have got 162 applicants for 40 places - that tells you everything...'
