From The Nottingham Post: 'Sherwood Academy in Gedling is seeking a new sponsor after E-Act was forced to give it up because of concerns over standards.
'It has now been revealed that Redhill Academy Trust may take the reins. A letter to parents sent yesterday from Sherwood Academy interim co-principals Peter Kingham and Kelly McKay confirmed the talks.
