Katharine Birbalsingh free school approved

From the Kilburn Times: Funding has been approved for Michaela Community School (free school, Wembley, London Borough of Brent) - Katharine Birbalsingh is the school’s head teacher



The Kilburn Times said: 'The school, which was originally to open in South London but was twice rejected, had faced opposition from Wembley residents and parents and teaching unions due to the high number of secondary schools in the area.'

It will offer places to 120 year seven children.
