Nottingham asks construction firms to bid for academy jobs

From the Nottingham Post: http://www.nottinghampost.com/Bids-invited-academy-project/story-20420189-detail/story.html

'Local contractors are being urged to attend a "meet the buyer" event where they can find out more about work they could bid for.

'Contracts ranging from £1,000 to £300,000 are up for grabs on the project, including jobs such as putting in suspended ceilings, landscaping and metalworks.

'hosted by main contractor BAM Construction and the council's Employer Hub... BAM, the fifth-biggest construction company in the UK, says it wants to develop its local supply chain for the academy project and other work.'

The academy, NUAST, will be built in Abbey Street, Dunkirk. It is being sponsored by both the university and Sir Harry Djanogly.
