Aylward Primary School (put in special measures in May 2013), in Pangbourne Drive, Stanmore, is consulting parents about whether the school should become an academy as part of the Bentley Wood Trust.
Bentley Wood became an academy in 2011 and was given Ofsted's highest 'outstanding’ rating in 2012. Headteacher: Janice Howkins
